11.08.07 | Troy Lee Helmet

Here's a couple of pics of a new helmet I picked up on eBay for $150 bones. Smokin' deal for a Troy Lee SE1 that normally retails for $300+. I'm partial to Troy Lee, just cuz they make the coolest looking products in the industry (IMHO). The style and attention to detail is awesome (I really dig the updated flush mesh on the SE), and they are super light and comfy.

They also hold up really well. I've ridden my previous SE for a full season, and although it's got some battle scars, generally speaking it looks great. I wash the liner every couple of rides in the washing machine, and it still looks new. No seams splitting, and no fabric worn out. What more can you ask for?

I've got my eyes peeled for a smokin' deal on an SE2 on eBay. I'll keep my fingers crossed that the prices drop after the holiday season.
